Our Work
Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. In Finland, IOM facilitates migrants’ integration, promotes development cooperation, assists victims of trafficking, and engages in refugee resettlement and migrants’ voluntary returns. IOM Finland’s operations cover Finland, Sweden and Iceland.

Courage for Peace - UN tent at the World Village Festival

Welcome to the UN tent at the World Village Festival! Find us in the middle of the tent area at tent T608.
Participate in the Courage for Peace artwork! Together, we will create an installation that celebrates courageous acts of peace. The art workshop is open to everyone and will continue throughout the festival. The workshop is led by artists Kristiina Tuura and Kateryna Harahulia.
Make your own badge of courageous peace! With the Peace Union’s badge machine, you can create your unique peace badge and show your support for peace. Stand boldly for peace!
Share your story of a courageous act of peace! We would love to hear your stories of courageous acts of peace. Share your story at the UN tent and inspire others.
